We are very close to the Lake and are right in the heart of busy Bowness. We are situated close to good bus links and are very close to local attractions
The Willowsmere was built around 1860 as an imposing Lakeland family residence, it has been tastefully restored and renovated to a high standard and includes the luxuries that you would expect if staying in a fine English hotel. The Guesthouse has 13 en suite bedrooms all recently refurbished including new luxury pocket sprung beds and those little extras that make your stay a pleasant and relaxing one. There are 2 lounges for guests use and a large landscaped secluded garden where you can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked cellar. The Willowsmere has a large off road car park and is centrally located; 8 minutes walk from Windermere centre and train station and 5 minutes walk from the tranquil shores of Lake Windermere. We are exclusively non-smoking and regretfully cannot accommodate children under 12. PLEASE NOTE OUR RECEPTION CLOSES AT 8PM

The guest lounge offers a relaxing area with panormaic views, leather Chesterfields and a Chess board Parking is not a problem in the tarmaced and enclosed car park with ample space for all guests. The properties location in the quiet town of Windermere, just a ten minute walk from the train station, is ideal for people wishing to explore the surrounding Lake District then be able to stroll into town for something to eat or a drink in the evening. Windermere's refurbished town centre also offers a variety of small shops and with the village of Bowness a short walk away there is plenty of opportunity to relax and let time go by.
A charming Victorian house, carefully converted and quietly tucked away in own wooded grounds in central Ambleside. Formerly used as the vicarage for the parish of St Mary's, it overlooks Rothay Park and is tucked away from traffic noise. There is ample free car parking within the grounds. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding fells or boating on lovely lakes. Fishing, riding, golfing and sailing are just a few of the facilities available nearby. There is a spacious and comfortable lounge available for guests' use and a small snooker table. We have our own heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, sun lounge, wifi internet access and roof top terrace. 
Holmlea is a Victorian Lakeland Stone Guest House offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. We take pride in looking after our guests and we can assure you of a friendly welcome in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Holmlea is in a quiet location of Bowness with only a few minutes stroll to the centre with its specialist shopping for fashion, food, arts and crafts. Bowness boasts great cafes, restaurants and pubs and is situated on Lake Windermere with the famous Windermere Lake Cruises. A stay at Holmlea is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and is the ideal base for visiting the many attractions within the Lake District National Park. Take a stroll around the marina or lake shore walk. There are tennis courts, crazy golf and an 18 hole pitch and putt area or just simply picnic on Glebe park and admire the breathtaking scenery across the lake. Holmlea is strictly non smoking and has its own private car parking. We are ideally located for walkers starting or finishing the Dalesway. Children from the age of eight are welcome. We are not able to accommodate pets. At Holmlea we do not cater for single sex groups, stag or hen parties.
