Over 400 years old Rose Cottage retains many of the original features. Located in the heart of Bowness & just a minutes walk from Lake Windermere Rose Cottage offers the convenience of having Bowness' many attractions, bars & restaraunts on it's doorstep whilst the beautiful Lake District scenery is within easy walking distance. Our guesthouse has 5 rooms, all en-suite with a walk in shower. We have 3 double rooms & 2 family rooms which sleep 3 people although we do have a z-bed & a travel cot (for a small fee) if required. All rooms offer complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, a trouser press & LCD satelite tv. We offer a good hearty breakfast which is served in our beautiful dining room at the convenient time of 8.30am - 9.30 am. Please note that although we strive to make your visit as relaxed as possible Bowness can be very lively especially at weekends.
